[ENGLISH] Experienced Academic Staff with a demonstrated history of working in the media production industry. Skilled in Photography, Computer based installations, New Media Art, Sound/Art and Film. Strong education professional with a Master of Arts (M.A.) focused in Media Art / Design from Academy of Media Arts Cologne / MECAD / Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona.
His works deals with the interference between science, art and technology, operating with translation and transmission in narration, phenomena of reality and observation using video, photography, sound and computer-based installations. He explores the performativity of sound and image, the light projection as an conceptual act, cybernetic installations as experimental sets and audiovisual concerts as free associative-narration-machines.
Postgraduate Studies of Media Arts Cologne. M.A. at Media Art Centre d’Art i Disseny (MECAD) Barcelona. Guest-Student at the Bauhaus University Weimar. M.Sc. in Media-Engineering and Media-Studies at the Technical University Ilmenau. He was Assistant Professor in the field of Video / Interactive Media at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne for several years.
[DEUTSCH] Medienkünstler, Ingenieur und Dozent. Seine künstlerische und gestalterische Forschung und Arbeit basiert auf experimentellen Prozessen und der Realisierung medialer Szenografien, audiovisueller Konzepte sowie computergestützter Installationen.
In seinen künstlerischen Projekten beschäftigt er sich mit der Übertragung und Übersetzung narrativer Strukturen, mit Phänomenen der Realität und Beobachtungen durch Video, Fotografie, Klang und Computer basierten (Algorithmisch) Installationen mit engem Bezug zu räumlichen Aspekten.
Aufgrund langjähriger Erfahrung mit kommerziellen, akademischen und freien Projekte ist er mit Firmen, Design-Agenturen, Universitäten, Instituten und Akademien in Europa, Asien und Südamerika eng vernetzt. er war zwischen 2008 – 2018 künstlerischer-wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter an der Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln im Bereich Video / interaktive Medien / Szenografie.
